Radiometer Front Ends

Spacek Labs has developed a number of radiometer front ends for use in atmospheric measurements.   Selectable LO frequencies allow simultaneous measurements at several frequencies.

Temperature Profiler

Monopulse Radar Receiver

Model IR35-11-PL is 35 GHz, 3-channel monopulse receiver front end, featuring phase-locked LO source, 30 dB min rejection over 1 GHz RF bandwidth, PIN-diode RF attenuators and 8 dB max SSB noise figure. The phase-locked LO source is referenced to an external 60 MHz reference and is tunable mechanically and electronically over 500 MHz bandwidth. Intermediate frequency is 60 MHz.
