Spacek Labs is looking for an assembly and test technician to build and test our microwave and millimeter-wave amplifiers and frequency multipliers.Candidate must be good with their hands and have experience working with small, delicate parts that require work under a microscope. Candidate should have experience with test equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal sources and power meters.They should demonstrate accuracy and consistency in their work and a desire to work on new things, as we build a wide variety of products in smaller quantities.Should have experience in wire-bonding and assembly. Experience with microwave/mm-wave components a plus. Responsibilities include assembling and testing microwave and mm-wave amplifiers, determining test set-up configurations, recording and analyzing test data.We are a small company based in Santa Barbara since 1982.
