Spacek Labs’ solid-state amplifier, Model SGKaQ-40-10, has excellent performance characteristics from 26.5 to 50 GHz. With a noise figure of 4.5 dB typical, output P1dB of 12 dBm typical. The unit has a nominal gain of 30 dB min., 38 dB typical. The VSWR for both input and output is less than 2:1 using 2.4mm coaxial connectors. The amplifier requires a bias voltage of +8 to +12VDC with 0.3A quiescent current. It is supplied with a heat sink which is removable for integration. Overall size without the heat sink is 1.13 x 0.93 x 0.31 in. (28.70 x 23.62 x 7.87 mm).
