Broadband 40 to 60 GHz Low-Noise Amplifier – Model SLU-17-4V

Spacek Labs low-noise amplifier, model SLU-17-4V, is a broadband LNA intended for operation from 40 to 60 GHz and is delivered with 1.85 mm coaxial connectors.  This LNA boasts a noise figure of 2.5 to 3 dB typical with a maximum of 4 dB at the highest frequency.  Although the gain is specified at 17 dB minimum, these LNAs typically offer 20 to 23 dB gain with a gain flatness of +/- 1.5 dB across the entire band and an output P1dB of -4 dBm.  With a higher gain of 40 dB typical, the LNA can be configured with an output power of +15 dBm.  Biasing is implemented using a single positive voltage between +8 and +12VDC through a single solder terminal connection.  These LNAs can also be delivered with a WR-19 waveguide flange interface to readily accept a waveguide receiver antenna.
