Spacek Labs’ solid-state amplifier, Model SLKaQ-38-15, has excellent performance characteristics from 26.5 to 50 GHz and is ideal for 5G frequency range 2 applications. It boasts a noise figure of 3.8 dB and output P1dB of 15 dBm typical. The unit has a nominal gain of 38 dB min., 43 dB typical. The VSWR for both input and output is 1.5:1 typical using 2.4mm coaxial connectors. The amplifier requires a bias voltage of +8 to +12VDC with 0.3A quiescent current. It is supplied with a heat sink which is removable for integration. Overall size without the heat sink is 1.13 x 0.93 x 0.31 in. (28.70 x 23.62 x 7.87 mm).
